Nillumbik Shire Council advises there are some minor changes to services following the Victorian Government’s announcement of the second step of the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.
The State Government has announced outdoor pools are now permitted to reopen, with significant restrictions.
This means the annual reopening date for the Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool of 1 November 2020 can go ahead as planned.
Council and Aligned Leisure – which manages the pool on behalf of Council – are working through these restrictions to determine what opportunities exist to open any sooner.
Nillumbik Shire will keep residents updated about changes.
Childcare centres, including the Eltham and Panton Hill playhouses, can now open for all children, not only children of permitted workers.
For more information contact email@example.com.
Recycling and Recovery Centre
The Recycling and Recovery Centre remains closed to the public, however, it is open for commercial customers only with permitted work permits.
Please note modified opening hours of Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm.
Closed weekends, public holidays and during extreme weather.
Edendale Community Environment Farm, our leisure centres, sporting pavilions, tennis courts, skate parks and the Yarrambat Park Golf Course remain closed.
We look forward to reopening these facilities when the further easing of restrictions allow.
