Eltham CRC Open Day

ELTHAM.

Eltham’s Community and Reception Centre (ECRC) at 801 Main Rd, Eltham has served Nillumbik -and the former Shire of Eltham- well since it was built in 1977.

The venue is sporting a fresh new look due following extensive refurbishment.

Nillumbik will hold an Open Day for the community to enjoy free family friendly activities and tour the Centre to view new facilities.

Open Day is on Saturday,  October 7, from 11am to 3pm and features a packed program of fun activities for the whole family, including entertainment, face painting, live music and a sausage sizzle.

With improved community access to multi-purpose spaces for cultural and performing arts activities the ECRC is can meet the growing needs of the community and provide flexible spaces, in addition to its function as a reception centre.

“From a cultural perspective, the Centre is a major drawcard for the Nillumbik region and supports the growth of The Artisan Hills brand as a conference, exhibition and performing arts destination,” Mayor, Cr Peter Clarke said.
