A 33-year-old man is expected to be charged after allegedly crashing his car into the front of a house in Truganina last night.

Earlier in the evening, police were at the scene of a vehicle collision on Broombush Court, when they heard and saw a grey Kia sedan, on Leakes Road, allegedly travelling on its wheel rims about 9:55pm.

Highway Patrol officers attempted to locate the car but were unable to find it.

A short time later, police responded to a car that had crashed into the front of a house on Clearwood Drive and discovered the car was the Kia sedan seen earlier.

Fortunately, the house was unoccupied at the time of the crash.
