Beaconsfield speedster from Berwick nabbed by bacon boys

State Highway Patrol members on motorbikes clocked a 37-year-old motorcyclist doing 150km/h in an 80km/h zone on the Princes Highway about 5pm.


He is expected to be charged on summons with riding an unsafe vehicle, speeding, excessive noise and wearing a non-compliant helmet with his motorcycle impounded for 30 days at the cost of $1390.

To top it off, the Berwick man was also found to be in breach of the directions issued by the Chief Health Officer and issued a $1652 penalty notice.
