Shire goes to ground following Chinese high-roller revelations

Kinglake Ranges News yesterday contacted all Murrindindi Shire councillors and CEO Craig Lloyd for a response to the alleged Chinese triad wombat-shooting holidays at "Dude Ranch" in Murrindindi.

Kinglake Ranges News yesterday contacted all Murrindindi Shire councillors and CEO Craig Lloyd for a response to the alleged Chinese triad wombat-shooting holidays at “Dude Ranch” in Murrindindi.

All councillors were contacted at 1.07 pm yesterday. No response has been provided. All were offered to have their statements published in full. None responded.

Over 2,000 people have made it quite clear they do not support this planning application.

Several sources have also commented to Kinglake Ranges News that “council [appears to have] gone to ground,” and “there [sic] all lawyered [sic] up now.”

Perhaps Council have a commercial agreement with other media outlets that prevents them from commenting to Kinglake Ranges News.

The poll “Should Murrindindi Shire approve the “Dude Ranch” development?” will remain open until the matter is voted on by Council.
